Our History

Mid Wales Plumbing & Heating Supplies Limited was established in January 2014 by directors Richard & Diane Burrows. We currently operate 3 specialist online stores; MWPHS.co.uk, The Intergas Shop and The Smart Thermostat Shop.

The specialist nature of our online shops means we really are the best at what we do. Focusing on products we know and love, we work closely with the manufacturers we support. This means our customers always get the right product for their requirements.

Same Day Dispatch

Almost all of our stock is held in our Mid Wales warehouse, meaning that Orders placed before 4pm are guaranteed to be processed and shipped out same day.

We offer fast deliveries through Royal Mail, DHL, and DPD, with the bulk of our items arrive the very next working day. We also offer timed delivery services and can deliver on a certain day of the week if it suits you better.

Eco Friendliness

As a company we do all we can to promote and engage in eco friendly practises. Our warehouse electric and heating systems are smart controlled and run as efficiently as possible. Electricity is supplied by Octopus Energy, using locally generated renewable energy from wind turbines. We have replaced all the warehousing and office lighting with long-life energy-saving LED light tubes and we are in the process of installing a hybrid heat pump system.

We have also recently moved to a new warehouse closer to many of our staff enabling more people to walk to work. Staff that commute from further away, drive electric vehicles and can make use of the two electric charging stations we have installed at the premises.

Meet The Team

Richard Burrows

— Director

Richard has been directly involved in the heating and hot water industry since 2002. Initially working as a heating engineer, before co-launching MWPHS in early 2014.

Since smart thermostats launched in the early 2010’s Richard has worked and trained with several controls and boiler manufacturers to guarantee our customers receive only the best products and experiences possible.

Diane Burrows

— Director

Diane left a successful job in the housing industry to co-found MWPHS with Richard in 2014 and currently handles the financial aspects of the company.

Together with Richard, she has overseen the continued growth of the business, including several premises changes, opening more online stores, and managing an ever-increasing catalogue of manufacturers.

Nick Brown

— Warehouse Manager

Nick is a career-long warehouse manager and joined the company in 2019 after increased business required the move to a bigger facility.

He continues to keep the warehouse running efficiently and ensures every order is processed and fulfilled carefully and correctly.
