Our History
Although Pirate Heating Supplies is our latest online shop, we have an established and strongly forged history.
Mid Wales Plumbing & Heating Supplies Limited was co-founded in January 2014 by directors Richard & Diane Burrows. MWPHS operates 3 specialist online stores; Pirate Heating Supplies (Est. 2025), The Intergas Shop (Est. 2017) and The Smart Thermostat Shop (Est. 2014).
The specialist nature of our online shops, means we really are the best at what we do. Focusing on products we know and love ourselves, we work very closely with the manufacturers we support. This means our customers always get the right product for their heating requirements, no matter how diverse this may be.
Same Day Dispatch
Almost all of our stock is held in our Mid Wales warehouse, meaning that orders placed on weekdays before 4pm are guaranteed to be processed and shipped out same day.
We offer an array of delivery options through Royal Mail, Parcelforce, and DPD. We have sent 1000’s of items since 2014 and the bulk of our items arrive the very next working day. We also offer timed delivery services and can deliver on a certain day of the week if it suits you better.

Installer Training
As a company we do everything we can to support heating installers, but one of the unique aspect of being an MWPHS customer is priority access to our installer training courses!
We have hosted many FREE training sessions here for our regular customers, including Mixergy Cylinder Training and CTC Heat Pump Training. We are also planning on hosting the Warmer Training Academy (formally Kimbo’s Heating Academy Northampton 2-Day Course) here in early 2025.
We also planning to release our own heat pump and hydronics training course in 2025, where you can come and learn what it takes to install heat pumps and how to setup heat pumps and hydronic systems for maximum efficiency! Learn from the ‘Top of The SCOP’s’ heating installers how they designed their systems to achieve such high efficiencies.
